XR InnoLab Team at 'Tabăra de Genii', Craiova and Drobeta Turnu-Severin June 6-15, 2026

The XR InnoLab project team participated in "Tabăra de Genii", an event held initially in Craiova at the "Marin Sorescu" National Theatre (June 4-7, 2026), and continued in Drobeta-Turnu Severin (June 12–15, 2026). The event was dedicated to curiosity, interactive education, and bringing children and young people closer to science and technology.

During the activities, our team presented the project results to all interested participants and offered interactive demonstrations using XR equipment, including virtual/augmented reality headsets, to illustrate how immersive technologies can support learning, collaboration, and the exploration of innovative digital environments.

Team members also gave interviews and discussed with participants the potential of XR technologies in education, research, and the development of digital skills.

We are pleased to have contributed to an event that turns curiosity into practical experience and inspires children to discover the technologies of the future.
